We all love flowers.We like them in a vase to give a fresh touch to our rooms,on the windows in the flowerpots to decorate our house and make it look tasty,or in the garden,after we rose them with a lot of care and love.There are so many species of flowers in this world that everyone can pick the favourite ones by colours,smell or shape.It is a well known fact that flowers have turned into a real industry.People grow all kind of species of flowers to sell them on the flower market or through their business.Some flowers are sold for a lot of money,considering on how rare they are and how much are they appreciated by the buyers for their looks and smell.
One of these beautiful flowers that people spend a lot of money to buy are the lilies,a species of flowers that grow in the northern emisphere areas with a temperate climate,favourable for they development.There are a lot of species of lilies in this world,about 110 and all of them have the same basic shape,but their smell,colour and some particularities of their look differ from one area to another.These plants grow from a bulb,that it has to be cultivated on a flowerpot or directly on the ground,but they can develop into rhizomes,that hosts a big number of bulbs.Other species can have stolons.Most of the bulbs need to be buried deeper in the ground in order to be able to make the lilies grow from them,but there are some that can be placed near the soil.It depends on what you preffer to have in your garden and on how much time you have to take care of it.There are certain types of lilies that develop steem-roots,which makes the whole process on giving birth to new lily-flowers much more easier for us.The roots are growing and becoming bigger underground,which means they don't die when the flower gets dry,in the cold season,so in the spring they will come back to life and make the lilies reborn.
Most of the lily species are showing their beautiful flowers during the warm season and keep them open for the whole time,until the cold months make them welk,but others don't bloom until the end of summer and last until the end of fall.Even if they are different as a shape,every species of lilies has a similar structure.The flower it's composed by six tepals,usually coloured in warm nuances,that please the human sight.
